Merge PDF files online in the browser
Merge multiple PDFs with PdfCraft — processing stays in the browser via pdf-lib. Free merge, limits, and privacy compared with upload-based converters.
How do I merge PDF files online without uploading them?
Open /apps/pdfcraft, add PDFs in the browser, merge with pdf-lib on your device, and download the result. Merge and light optimize are free (0 credits). Files are not sent to ArtCraft servers for merge. Split/OCR/redaction are not claimed.
Open PdfCraftSteps
- Open /apps/pdfcraft.
- Add two or more PDF files from your device.
- Reorder pages/files as needed.
- Merge and download the combined PDF.
- Optionally run light optimize (object-stream rewrite) — still browser-local.
Input example
Sample PDFs: /samples/pdf-a.pdf and /samples/pdf-b.pdf.
Output example
Single merged PDF downloaded locally.
Good fit
- Combining invoices, handouts, or scanned chapters you already have as PDF
- Privacy-sensitive merges you do not want on a third-party upload site
Not a fit
- OCR / searchable-PDF conversion (not claimed)
- Encrypted PDFs that need a password unlock first
- Document management with retention and ACL
Price and free limits
- PDF merge: free (0 credits).
- PDF light optimize: free (0 credits).
- Credits apply to cloud photo tools and GridCraft Copilot — not to PdfCraft merge.
Privacy and file handling
- Merge runs with pdf-lib in the browser; bytes stay on your device for this task.
- Contrast with cloud photo tools that upload images for inference.
Verified limitations
- Not a DMS.
- Split / OCR / redaction not offered on this page.
- Very large PDFs may be limited by browser memory.
