Does DeckCraft generate photorealistic slide images?

This guide covers text/outline and supported editor commands. We do not advertise text-to-image slide generation unless a separate image model is integrated into that path.

Is every PowerPoint animation supported?

No. Treat DeckCraft web as Alpha — verify charts, media, and animations before relying on them.

Slide editing is free. AI Copilot is Pro when the engine bridge is connected.

Answer in one minute

In DeckCraft Online:

Wait for the deck engine (Engine connected).
Start from a blank or sample deck.
Ask AI Copilot (Pro) for an outline or a new slide.
Confirm tool calls, verify titles/body on the canvas, undo if needed.
Export PPTX and open it before presenting.

This is AI Copilot on a real PPTX editor, not a one-shot “text → finished marketing deck” studio.

How this differs from Gamma

Gamma Agent focuses on generative presentation creation. DeckCraft is closer to an open-source PPTX editor with agent commands on the open file. Compare categories fairly — pick Gamma for generative drafts; pick DeckCraft when you want browser PPTX editing plus Copilot tools.

Steps

1. Open DeckCraft

Go to DeckCraft Online. First load is heavy (WASM). Confirm the shell shows Engine connected when the bridge is live.

2. Start a deck

Use File → New / sample as provided by the Alpha web UI.

3. Ask Copilot

Examples:

Outline a 5-slide pitch: problem, solution, product, traction, ask.

Add a slide titled Key metrics with three bullet placeholders.

4. Confirm → verify → export

Confirm mutating commands, click through slides on the canvas, then export PPTX. Charts/animations/media may be limited in Alpha — test before a live talk.

What we do not claim

Dedicated text-to-image slide generation as a first-class product.
Full PowerPoint animation parity.
Better than Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 tenants without evidence.
